INTERESTED PARTIES

What information do we collect?

When you sign up for the Valaris alert services, you provide us with contact information. Contact information typically includes your name and email address.

How do we use this information?

We use the contact information you provide us to establish our alert service for you.

Valaris may share interested parties information with selected partners/third parties, for example, to provide the alert service. We will not otherwise disclose interested parties information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm to or interfering with the rights or property of Valaris, our customers, or others, or where Valaris has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.

Valaris also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the details of any electronic mail or other electronic communications. The circumstances under which Valaris will disclose such electronic communications are when:

  • It is necessary in order to provide service to the interested party;
  • It is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Valaris and its affiliates;
  • It is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants or other legal process that Valaris determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; and
  • It is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the details are inadvertently obtained by Valaris and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.

Valaris disclaims any intention to censor, edit or engage in ongoing review or surveillance of communications stored on or transmitted through its facilities by others. Valaris will, however, review, delete or block access to communications that may harm Valaris or third parties.

Customers may opt out of receiving alerts and/or notices from Valaris by submitting a request or unsubscribing to alerts in the alert section. In this request, customers must identify their email address.

Please note, however, that Valaris reserves the right to send important information regarding our services at our discretion.
